One of my favourites is this item that’s packed every time I head off and has been my jacket of choice in both Atlantic rows. I have always like layering my clothes so that I can take off or add as I go. This jacket makes a perfect outer shell/layer. The three most important factors to consider in a jacket are weight, waterproofing and breathability.....

Notice Board

Television documentary series "Cold Sweat" starts in South Africa. Just watched (for the first time) footage of the race Braam Malherbe and I did to the South Pole to commemorate Scott and Amundsens race 100 years ago. Great memories. This is part 1 of a five part series. The first three of the series is about the whole race and all the competitors and the final two take you on a very personal journey that Braam I and took. Well done Urban Brew and Extreme World Races. Series is on SABC3 every Sunday at 18h00. Will keep you posted on the international broadcasting stations and times.
