The Two Rivers Expedition was a great success and I have managed to learn a great deal about what may be in stall for me during my solo Capri-X 2012 Expedition. These are exciting times! My riding partner and I managed to average 120km’s per day in temperatures ranging between 35 and 45°C. The total distance of 1500km’s+ in 12 days.
BIGGEST CHALLENGE
Heat was a massive challenge and keeping clear of the roaming desert elephants.
FAVOURITE MOMENT
Finding a windmill and water tank in the middle of nowhere and having a swim to cool down.
LESSONS LEARNT
Arno was an incredible expedition partner and he taught me many valuable lessons about helping others succeed.
